The way the X-Boost works, you do not see the extra experience or gold, but you do receive it. Trust us! The extra EXP will not be visible on the moster. It will however be noticed once you have defeated the enemy. There will be two amounts of EXP on the scroll. The lower number is the extra EXP that is given by the X-Boost.
